If you do not plan to share network with many users, you probably do not need to set rate limits. However, if you notice speeds slowing due to heavy use, you might want to set upload rate limits, download rate limits, or both.

There are two ways to rate limits for the current network:

  •  IP- BASED : rate limits based on the IP address.
  •  MAC-BASED : rate limits based on the MAC address.

Click SmartQoS  > Flow Control >IP-BASED

For example, Create a rate-limiting policy for  192.168.13.7, upload 1Mbps and download 1Mbps, effective from 9am to 6pm.

Note:

Guaranteed bandwidth:Almost all bandwidth on the Internet is shared. However,This value can provide higher priority to the bandwidth for customers. This is the meaning of "guaranteed" in guaranteed bandwidth.
